Dali Van Gogh Nominated for Two Categories at the 2023 East Coast Music Awards
Dali Van Gogh, the wildly popular Canadian rock band, has been nominated for two prestigious categories at the 2023 East Coast Music Awards. The band’s latest record, New Blood, Old Wounds, produced by multiple Juno and Grammy-winning engineer Eric Ratz, has been nominated for both Rock Recording of the Year and Loud Recording of the Year.
“We are incredibly honored and excited to be nominated for these awards,” said Isaac Kent, the band’s founder, and guitarist. “We poured everything we had into New Blood, Old Wounds and worked incredibly hard to create something that we’re proud of. We’re grateful to the East Coast Music Association for recognizing our hard work and are humbled to be among such amazing artists.”
The East Coast Music Awards celebrate the best in East Coast Canadian music and recognize artists who have made significant contributions to the industry. This year’s awards and conference will take place in Halifax, Nova Scotia from May 4th-7th, and will feature performances and showcases from a variety of talented musicians.
Dali Van Gogh will be performing three times during the awards festival, with their first performance on May 5th at the Seahorse Lounge alongside fan-favorite Keke Beatz, and two performances on May 6th at Gus’ Pub and the Seahorse Lounge respectively.
“We can’t wait to perform at the awards festival and showcase our music for such an amazing audience,” added Kent. “We’re thrilled to be a part of this incredible event and are looking forward to sharing our music with everyone in attendance.”
